The Obagi Blue Peel uses a slow acting Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) mixed with a special Obagi blue base that enables the doctor to monitor and control both the peel process and the depth of penetration. Depending on the amount of skin damage and the skin condition being addressed, in most cases, only one treatment is normally necessary to achieve the desired dramatic and fantastic results. Peeling usually starts on the third day and can last up to about ten days. Patients need to commit to a mandatory 3-6 weeks of pre-skin care programme and are required to take a week off work after the treatment procedure.

The Obagi Blue Peel RADIANCE (light to medium)

Being a light to medium peel, the Blue Peel RADIANCE completes the Obagi Peel range. The Blue Peel RADIANCE is composed of Salicylic Acid. It is performed in a series of 4-6 treatments scheduled 2-4 weeks apart, depending on the individual patient. There is no pre-treatment required and downtime is minimal, with full recovery taking four to six days.
