Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy treats varicose and spider veins.

Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades.

After sclerotherapy, treated veins tend to fade within a few weeks, although occasionally it may take a month or more to see the full results.

In some instances, you would need multiple sclerotherapy treatments.

Laser Therapy

We use the Bella Vein laser (980 Diode laser) to treat spider veins and small varicose veins. After the laser treatment, the veins will darken and they will disappear within 1 – 3 months. Depending on the desired outcome you will most likely need a few session. The patient is also advised to wear a compression stocking after treatments.
